Regular Visits.

Avoid relapse with regular visits.

On follow up visits you will sign in at our front desk and soon after that we will bring you back to a treatment room.  If possible we ask that you wear loose, comfortable clothing.  If you can't due to work requirements that's not a problem, we have shorts or gowns for you if needed.  Your regular visits are only as long as they need to be.  Some patients are in and out in 5-15 minutes while others take longer.  It all depends on what we need to accomplish that day.

Most times your visits will consist of  a spinal adjustment or manipulation.  Sometimes we will employ modalities, such as ultrasound or electrical muscle stimulation.  Some visits will only be for exercise instruction or follow up.  Remember, each visit builds on the one before like exercise.  Regular demands on the joints, muscles, and nervous system allow the body to adapt positively towards better function and less pain!

After we are done for that day you will stop at our front desk to confirm or make your next appointment and you are on your way.

Dr. David Asks some important questions of interest to Lincoln residents - Chiropractor Lincoln Dr. David Asks...

Do chiropractors prescribe medications for the pain?
No. Chiropractic is a drug-free approach to better health. Instead, we rely on natural methods. We can show you how to use ice to control pain. When properly applied, ice can have an analgesic effect without the unwanted and sometimes dangerous effects of pain medications.
What's a side effect?
It may sound like a bonus; something extra, but chiropractors know it should more accurately called an "unintended effect," and "unwanted effect" or in some cases an "adverse effect." A pill can't come close to matching your body's ability to create and deliver the essential compounds it needs. That's when it's important to make sure your nervous system is working correctly—the purpose of chiropractic care!
